How the Score Is Measured
Every token we scan is re-checked over the next 7 days. The score comes from what actually happened to similar tokens.
What the score means
The share of tokens with the same profile that died soon after a RugSlayer scan: the market for them was gone and holders could no longer sell. A score of 65 means about two in three similar tokens died.
How we check
Each token is checked when it is first scanned, then 1 hour, 1 day and 7 days later: can it still be sold, and at what price? Tokens that survive stay in the data, so the score is not built from rugs alone.
Track record
Outcome tracking started on October 6, 2026. The results for the live score are below and refresh about every 10 minutes. Before that, the score came from an ML model validated offline on research datasets. Real-token outcomes are the stricter test, so those offline figures are no longer shown.

- 495 more tokens could not be sold even at their first check (mostly new launches nobody had bought), so they are not counted above. RugSlayer rated 494 of them critical (81-100).
- Dead: no swap route will buy the token back, or its pump.fun launch curve is nearly empty.
- The score is the share of similar tokens that died within days or weeks of a scan, so one day is early for most of them; the 7-day column is the fairer test. Its first results arrive October 13.
- Small groups swing a lot: read the counts as well as the percentages. Tokens come from user scans and from RugSlayer's own scans of new and trending tokens every 2 hours.
